Discord & Community Moderator

About This Role

We’re looking for experienced Discord and community moderators to be the front line of the Solana Funded community. You’ll manage our Discord server, Telegram groups, and social channels — keeping the community engaged, informed, and free of spam while building a culture that traders actually want to be part of.

This is not a passive moderation role. You’ll be actively shaping conversations, hosting events, answering questions in real time, and escalating issues to the team. Our community is the heartbeat of our brand — and you’re the person keeping it beating.

We’re specifically looking for moderators who have worked in crypto communities before — ideally in prop firms, funded trading platforms, or DeFi projects. If you know what a funding challenge is, understand why traders get frustrated, and can de-escalate a heated Discord thread at 2am — you’re exactly who we need.

Responsibilities

• Moderate the Solana FundedDiscord server and Telegram community 24/7 in rotating shifts
• Respond to member questions about challenges, payouts, rules, and platform features in real time
• Enforce community guidelines — remove spam, scam links, and bad actors swiftly
• Host and co-host Discord stages, AMAs, and community events (weekly trading discussions, Q&A sessions, etc.)
• Escalate technical issues, bug reports, and payout queries to the operations team with clear documentation
• Create and maintain a FAQ and knowledge base that reduces repetitive questions
• Welcome new members, guide them through onboarding, and foster a helpful community culture
• Monitor community sentiment and report emerging issues or feedback trends to the team
• Coordinate with the marketing and affiliate teams on announcements, campaigns, and promotions
• Manage channel permissions, roles, bot configurations, and server structure as the community grows

Requirements

• Fluent in English — written and verbal (non-negotiable)
• Previous experience moderating crypto Discord servers or Telegram communities — you must have done this before, not just been a member
• Strong understanding of crypto, DeFi, and ideally the Solana ecosystem — you need to speak the language of our community
• Experience with or deep understanding of prop firms, funded trading, or trading challenges — this is the product you’ll be supporting
• Comfortable speaking on Discord stages and hosting live audio/video events
• Calm under pressure — you will deal with frustrated traders, FUD, and the occasional bad actor. Composure is essential
• vailable for shift-basedscheduling including evenings and weekends — crypto communities never sleep
• Proficient with Discordmoderation tools (bots, AutoMod, role management, channel permissions)
• Self-motivated and reliable— if your shift starts at 8pm, you’re online at 7:55pm

Nice to Have

• Experience moderating for aprop firm or funded trading platform specifically (FTMO, MyForexFunds, The5ers,or similar)
• Experience with community management tools (Combot, MEE6, Dyno, Carl-bot, or custom bots)
• Ability to create community content — announcements, event graphics, welcome messages, guides
• Multilingual — especially Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Turkish, or Bahasa (our community is global)
• Existing relationships with crypto community leaders, KOLs, or server owners
• Experience running giveaways, competitions, or engagement campaigns in Discord
• Based in or willing to cover UTC+4 (UAE) time zone shifts
